About
I am an economist working at the intersection of behavioral economics, experimental economics, agricultural economics, environmental economics, development economics and microeconometrics. My research studies how people make decisions when information is incomplete, risks are difficult to assess, and social and institutional contexts shape what is feasible. I focus on sustainable choices and technology adoption, with a particular interest in agriculture and rural economies.
I earned a PhD in Economics from the lab EconomiX, University of Paris Nanterre, under the supervision of Dr. Phu Nguyen Van (Research Professor, CNRS). My doctoral thesis, “Individual Preferences and Organic Adoption Decisions in Uncertain Contexts”, examined how risk and ambiguity preferences, time preference, information completeness, and government interventions influence farmers’ willingness to adopt organic practices.
Methodologically, I combine econometric analysis with survey and experimental approaches. I work with observational and panel data, policy evaluation designs, and experiments conducted with real decision makers, often in field settings. Alongside research, I teach econometrics and quantitative methods at graduate and undergraduate levels, with an emphasis on clear identification, transparent inference, and communication that supports decision making.
